Well, here's my problem: every time I go to my session, a message appears: Exception processing Message c0000013 parameters 75afbf9c 4 75afbf9c 75afbf9c and if I click Cancel/Retry/Continue, it pops up four times. It doesn't cause any issues, but it's quite annoying.
For your information, I tried installing GIMP and I heard that my problem might be due to this software...
I'm really at an impasse, so a little help would be much appreciated...
Thank you for your response
and good evening to everyone!!

regarde ça... c'est la façon facile de résoudre ce problème... il suffit de lancer "regedit" puis de suivre ceci
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Windows]
puis trouve le nom ErrorMode et change sa valeur en faisant un clic droit sur l'erromode lui-même et en changeant la date de valeur de 0 à 2...
ça marche vraiment....
merci
ça fonctionne !!

Hi,
I am a programmer and I encountered this problem during one of my developments... while searching a bit online, I realized that nobody had concrete explanations regarding the origin of this error... so I will shed some light on the matter.
This message appears when a program tries to access a drive without a disk in it (floppy disk, CD, memory card, etc...)... and it is indeed a problem coming from Microsoft Windows... the correct message to display should be "Please insert a disk into drive X" ...
So, I directly refute what I have read everywhere... it is not enough to install any update (this problem is still not fixed as of now since my computer is up to date), and it is not enough to disable the floppy drive!!!!
So, you may ask me
why does it work for some people to disable the floppy drive... simple:
one of the programs attempts to access the drive, which of course does not contain any disk, causing the error message... disabling the drive prevents the said program from trying to read a pseudo-disk, thus avoiding the message.
why did it not work for others:
because the floppy drive is not necessarily involved, the message also appears if you try to access a CD/DVD drive without a disk in it, a memory card reader without a memory card in it, a ZIP drive without a cassette in it, ...
WHAT SHOULD BE DONE? two solutions:
1- insert a disk into each of your drives, so that the read attempts no longer fail; at least, for those affected, you will be able to start your computer correctly and access your desktop;
2- find the program that is trying to access the empty drive... it could be (but not necessarily) the manager of your memory card reader, the manager of your digital camera, etc. Once you find it, try to understand why it is attempting those accesses, and at worst, reinstall it.

EXCEPTION PROCESSING MESSAGE: c0000013 parameters 75afbf9c 4 75afbf9c 75afbf9c Hello.
I have a problem that triggers the same message or something similar.
However, it only appears on the screen every time I try to plug a USB drive (loaded or blank) into any of the USB ports on the PC, the following message appears on the screen in a window.
EXCEPTION PROCESSING MESSAGE: c0000013 parameters 75afbf9c 4 75afbf9c 75afbf9c
This message momentarily disappears after 4 clicks on "CANCEL" or "CONTINUE," but not on "RETRY." Then it comes back after a very short time.
The same USB drives plugged into another computer do not trigger this display...
I consulted a repairman who recommends uninstalling WINDOWS.
Have you resolved (I hope for you) your problem? Did you go through the uninstallation of WINDOWS as he suggests, or did you find another trick?
Thank you for your comments.
Best regards.

Hello,
I posted just one day later apparently... I have the same problem... I used Filemon.exe to look at all the transits on my PC... There are only the software I use "normally" SVSHOT (Win 32 file) very, very, very often, ASH???? file (Win 32) quite rarely, then Internet Explorer more often all in drive :/C and WinLog...
I reinstalled Quicktime as mentioned in another thread. No result.
I disabled my external hard drive. No result.
I don't have a card manager, etc.
I don't have a floppy disk drive.
I disabled my virtual drives and uninstalled the programs. No result.
I tried to delete some files in Win32 as mentioned in a forum but they were absent. No result.
I don't have Gimp, so no updates either. So no result again...
I reinstalled 2-3 Windows updates. No results...
Just 1 internal hard drive and some files... And 1 external drive that I can unplug without changing anything.
Note: For the external drive, the name strangely changed from :J to :K without me doing anything...
Also, I’ve manipulated quite a few not-so-clean software found on the internet including some viruses that I managed to gather and compress into a small USB stick...
I receive Moncontenuassistant.com or http://www.comparer24.com/12d3RifKfe.php and other sites that claim to be "antivirus" but keep sneaking through Internet Explorer... Avast Home Edition didn't find anything at all despite 3 scans...
Furthermore, my desktop background is stuck on "Windows Error" Active Desktop, a very, very ugly white wallpaper...
So there you go, if Carat you are still here, I would be gladly interested in your solutions... Or tests that I could perform... And can I delete this SVSHOT or ASH or whatever without risking issues? I honestly don't know what to do anymore...

Hello, I have disabled the following disc drives: generic usb cf and sd, then restarted. NO MORE PROBLEMS. I hope it works for you too.

Hi Caparte, I hope you see my message despite the time that has passed since you posted...

So if you could explain to me how you truly managed to get rid of it, it would really help me a lot... thanks in advance... or you can contact me by email...

1-START
2-RUN
3-type -msconfig-
4-choose /startup
5-uncheck:CDROM. then close the window
6-search for the CDROM file in the path c:program files or in the startup list/all programs/(sofin saodi) and click on it right /properties/search the path.
7- and finally delete it permanently.
here is the problem and it's done. thank you.

Find your USB key, hoping for you that all the files are still there, and I think that will solve your problem... you tell me that you have been handling viruses from this key... something tells me that one of those viruses has installed itself, and is trying in vain to access this USB key.

Yes, it happened to me "20" times!
The easiest thing is to restore the PC to an earlier date... but if that's not possible for some reason, you can go to the Control Panel, then Administration Tools, and then Services.
There you'll find a drop-down list. Depending on the lines, you have "automatic," "disabled," or "manual"... It's not easy for a user to know how they should be set... so if you have another working PC (like a laptop), you should compare and set them the same.

Hello everyone,
This just happened to me while uninstalling Norton Antivirus 2006. I tried the complete cleaning tool from Norton, but nothing works. Additionally, the computer no longer restarts on its own: when you select "restart," it stops on a black screen with a cursor (blinking dash) and you have to turn it off and on again.
Well, if this can spark any ideas... or if someone can help me...
The computer is really nice: we spend time trying to fix the nonsense of expensive software....

I resolved it. For some reason, uninstalling Norton Antivirus caused or revealed a link from Quicktime to a removable drive. I just had to reinstall Quicktime to fix the problem.
As always, there's a world of difference between the symptom and the underlying issue.
Good luck to those who are still struggling.

Hello,
so I had the same problem as you on my PC, which was due to a contact on MSN who sent me a link with a virus.
A friend who is a computer expert helped me restore my PC to a date prior to the problem, and everything is back to normal.
This, as he told me, avoids uninstalling anything while backing up your data.
If the problem had persisted, he advised me to totally reset Windows! Dangerous for all data but effective!
It worked for me, and I hope I provided a solution for some of you.

Hello,
If you could help me or just let me know that you don't know anything, that would help me and allow me to post on another forum.

Hello, I disabled the following disk drives: generic USB CF and the SD, then restarted. NO MORE PROBLEMS, I hope it works for you. After that, I reactivated them a month later since I don't use them, and no more message problems. That's it.
Good evening. I had the same problem when starting my PC. I disabled my floppy drive and uninstalled it since I never had one, but since I got internet, it installed itself. There you go, hope that helps you.
Good evening and thank you for the interest shown in my issue, to which, inadvertently, I seem to have found the solution.
By uninstalling my antivirus (Bitdefender ANTIVIRUS PLUS.10), I have noticed that the bug has disappeared. But we will have to assess it over time.
If the issue recurs, I will inform the community for future reference.
Best regards.

I tip my hat to you. Respect. I had this error message that would pop up every time I opened files with Windows Explorer (I'm on XP SP3).
This simple change of the key value has solved everything. Perfect. Flawless.
Once again, all my thanks for this simple and effective solution!

Merci mec.. :D
