Fatal error in The Sims 2 Solved

HELLO
I HAVE A FATAL ERROR ISSUE IN MY SIMS 2 GAME OVER THE SEASONS
I HAVE NEARLY ALL THE GAMES (EXPANSION AND STUFF PACKS EXCEPT GLAMOUR CELEBRATION AND THE CHRISTMAS EDITION) THIS MESSAGE APPEARS AT THE END OF LOADING ZABVILLE WHAT TO DO???

I have a big problem when I launch The Sims 2: Pets, everything works in my neighborhood until a message appears telling me there’s a fatal error, the application will be closed, and my game crashes. Please help me, this has been going on for a while and I can't take it anymore!!

try defragmenting the hard drive, for that go to start, all programs, accessories, system tools, disk defragmenter and then follow the instructions
and if that doesn't work try deleting downloaded files (meaning what you downloaded from the Sims website)
and if that still doesn't work then I really don't know :s

I'm sure that if we defragment it, it still won't work! :s
But it's better to try, but here's what I've noticed: when you have The Sims 2 on PC, you have a problem, and when you fix it, you're super happy, and then you play and you have another problem!!!
No one has The Sims 2 without problems!! They should remake it!
