Sims 2: Fatal Error The application will be closed!!

Hello,
I have The Sims 2 (Pets, Nightlife, Bon Voyage, Apartment Life, Free Time, Seasons)
And when I try to go to a community lot with the (downloaded) car, it loads a bit and then a message says "fatal error the application will be closed." I have a site called "can you run it" and I tried it and it indicates that I have better performance for The Sims 2. Please help me!!

    Hello,

    Try launching the game without any downloaded content. If you don't encounter any problems, it means that there's an item causing your game to crash. You'll just need to find out which one it is.

    If the problem persists: Back up your families and downloads, then uninstall and reinstall your game, and finally, restore your backups.
