Hey everyone!
So, I bought a Kodak Pixpro AZ251 bridge camera. I didn't have a very big budget (I'm a beginner in photography) and I bought this camera for 100€.
It’s not as powerful as Canon or Nikon cameras, but it’s not bad. My problem now is that it's really very difficult to achieve a blurry background with my subject in focus. I've managed to do it before, but it's very hit or miss! And when it comes to people, I really can't get it right. Considering there’s no aperture priority mode, it’s more complicated.
Does anyone have this camera? Can you give me some advice or tips? That would be really nice! Thank you very much for your future replies.

The trick is to photograph your subject with the lens set to, for example, 100mm and to focus on the subject (not the background). Your subject will be sharp and the background will be blurred.
But this trick requires you to be far enough away from the person you are photographing (about 3 meters). At the 100mm setting, if you are too close, it will be impossible to focus. -
