Hello/Good evening,
Right now I am sending you this message with a bit of hope....
Actually, my PS Vita does not charge anymore when I plug it into its adapter, and when I turn it off completely the orange light comes on, and 3 hours later I turn it back on and it tells me it's dead.
Thank you for helping me, I need your valuable advice.

Problem solved for those who want to know how I did it, follow these steps:
illustrated tutorial: https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/PlayStation+Vita+Battery+Replacement/7990 (/!\) do not disconnect the battery or the charge indicator, just the connectors, so stop at step 8!)
1) Disassemble the PS VITA case (Don't forget the screws on the top and bottom, I had the same issue ^^)
2) Disconnect the two LI-Ion battery connectors.
3) Wait 1 minute and 30 seconds before reconnecting them.
4) Reassemble the PS VITA by securely screwing in the screws
For those who do not wish to disassemble their PS VITA, I have another method but it's longer (about 1 week), follow these steps:
1: If your battery is dead, even if it is fully charged, play a game until the battery dies, then turn it back on and keep doing this until it dies completely, until the dead battery symbol no longer appears. Once this is done, plug in the charger for 24 hours, and DO NOT turn it on or disconnect it until the 24 hours are up.
2: After 24 hours, return to the PS VITA, then repeat the process.
3: Then, repeat the process.
4: Then, repeat once more.
5: Once you have done this (which should take a week or two), your PS VITA battery indicator will be calibrated and it will be back to normal.
Why do you have this problem and how can you avoid it?:
If this problem has occurred, it's not for nothing: It simply means you are playing while your PS VITA is plugged in, or you are not using a certified PlayStation(R) charger
Hope I helped you ;)

Hello, I have a problem with my PS Vita since this morning; it is taking a long time to charge. Even after 3 hours, it hasn't even reached half battery. If you have a solution, please let me know. Best regards.

Hello, I have a strange problem with my PS Vita; it does not charge while in use but only when it is completely flat and the crossed battery symbol appears. When it is flat, however, it charges perfectly and it discharges normally, meaning after 4 or 5 hours of use.
I would like to mention that this is the first generation PS Vita with the OLED screen. -

It's resolved even though no one replied to me; it came from the charger. I advise people who have the same issue to plug in their PS Vita and gently twist the cable just below the connector, once up and then down, and see if the PS Vita lights up in orange. That's how I noticed it. You then need to buy a new charger.
