Sound of the Kraken too loud

Hello,
I have a small problem that might seem silly but has been bothering me for a while...
I bought a Razer Kraken headset a few weeks ago that I am very satisfied with, but... I can't adjust the sound!!
Let me explain, I set the Windows volume controller to minimum and the headset volume remains quite high! At maximum level on the controller, it sounds as if the headset is a speaker because the sound is so loud! If anyone has experienced this issue or has a solution, I would appreciate any advice!

I'm digging up an old topic, but I've been using a Kraken for 4 years and I'm having the same problem. I have to set the mixer to 1/100 for apps and the PC sound to 1/4 if I don't want to lose my ears.
And this is happening on two different PCs with two different configurations. One with W7 and the other with W10.
