Scanner busy on my HP printer

Question

Hello,

I have an HP DeskJet 3070A all-in-one printer that is wirelessly connected to my computer running Windows 8. Printing and copying work perfectly, but I haven't been able to scan documents for a few days. When I open the scanner on my computer, the following message appears:

"Scanner connection problem
The scanner is busy. Please wait for it to finish and try again later or close any other applications using the scanner."

Is there anyone who can suggest a way to solve my problem?

Try going through "paint", "file", and "from a scanner or camera"....

Good evening, since Paint, I receive the message "Unable to retrieve the image from the device. Please check that it is properly connected and try again."

I advise you to unplug your printer for a few hours... both the USB and the power... otherwise, sorry, I don't see... good luck!
Also try changing either the USB port or the cable, but since it prints, it shouldn't change anything, but it doesn't hurt to try!
