Connection issue to my Steam account

Hello,
I can't log into my Steam account; however, I can log in (ONLY) to the "support" section of the site. Everything else is blocked due to "Incorrect login information"... Even on the Steam "software," I can't access it... I (I BELIEVE) have allowed Steam access to the Internet through my firewall (though I don't see the point...). Since my access is restricted, I created a second account with a different email address, and again, I can only log into the support section of the site.
I don't know much about computers; can you please help me?
Configuration: Windows / Chrome 38.0.2125.111

All I can say is that Steam and Steam Support are two different things and that your credentials are not the same for one or the other. When I had to contact Steam Support, I had to create an account specifically for Steam Support.
If you're unable to log in, it's because you must be mistaken about your credentials/password, thinking they are the same as for support.

Yes, I have already changed my password... I think the issue is with the username... Is that possible? Plus, when I changed my password, it reminded me of my username, which is indeed the correct one... That said, I changed my password since contacting support, so if those are two different things... I will try changing my password from the Steam site.

What is the exact message you get when you try to log in? Because when you change PCs, or when you try to log in from another machine, if Steam Guard is activated to protect your account, an email is sent to your email address with a 4-digit code that you need to enter when logging in. Did you receive something like that?
