T'nB Bluetooth Keyboard Not Recognized

Good evening!
I bought a T'nB K-Blue Bluetooth keyboard yesterday, hoping to finally have a real keyboard for my smartphone... x)
I turn on the keyboard, go to the Bluetooth menu on the phone, and scan. The keyboard is detected, the phone asks me to type in a verification code. I do that, and it works.
But now, once that's done, I don't know how to use it. When I tap the settings icon at the end of the keyboard line in the Bluetooth menu, it opens a menu with a line featuring a checkbox "Use as input" or something like that. But I can't check it.
In Language & Input, the keyboard doesn't appear.
I should mention that I have a Qilive Android Jelly Bean smartphone (Auchan brand).
So, can anyone tell me how to use it?
