USB key stuck in the USB port of my computer!!!!

Hello,

This is URGENT PLEASE!!!!!!!!!

My USB stick is stuck in the port of my laptop. It's an HP Pavilion 15, Windows 8.1

I don’t want to force it for fear of breaking something inside the PC or making this USB port unusable. The USB stick doesn’t show up in the list of Devices and Drives so that I can eject it normally. The stick doesn’t light up either; it’s in the USB port but is completely invisible on the computer.

I don’t know what to do anymore, please help me!!!

    Hello,
    Did you place it the right way? It seems not, since it's not visible...
    I think the only solution is to try to remove it by wiggling the key sideways while gently pulling, with the computer off.

      Meh, I’ve always unplugged USBs and never had any issues. It’s only if you were working on it or had something open on it that it would be “terrible.”
