Hello, the question is often asked and the answer is always the same: check the software settings and make sure to select "PAL" for color.
This kind of "budget" key causes a lot of problems on the forum.
I always recommend a well-known product that I use: "Dazzle" by Pinnacle.

Connect your device to your PC (this is important), open your honestech program, then click on video settings (the icon looks like 2 nuts), a window will open, then click on command, another window will open and then select the small black arrow, click on PAL_B then scroll down to SECAM L_1 and click on apply and ok, all while playing your VHS video.
Everything will be in color!!!!
