Hello,
I installed this VHS video capture tool by following the instructions in the Quick Installation Guide provided with the USB key and the USB DVR CD.
I clicked on "Driver installation"
then on the SN icon to get the serial number
then I clicked on "Software Installation"
The software installed correctly.
After connecting the USB key with the VCR and starting the video capture, I get videos in black and white, with no sound and completely choppy.
I have Vista as the operating system.
Has anyone encountered this problem before?
How can I resolve it?
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me.

Hello and welcome as a new member
try this method plug your key into your PC (this is important), open your honestech program, then click on video settings (logo resembling 2 nuts), a window opens, then click on command, another window opens then select on the small black arrow, click on PAL_B then scroll down to SECAM L_1 then click on apply and ok, all while scrolling through your VHS video.
Everything should be in color!!!!
I hope this helps you keep us posted if it works well
