Do you need to install drivers to add RAM?

Good evening,
there is no need to install a driver or anything else, can the motherboard support 8GB? The 8GB will be recognized from Windows 7 or higher, are you sure the slowdown comes from the RAM?
Otherwise, for the installation, make sure to unplug your tower, then eliminate any static electricity (rub your tower with your hands) and then install the new RAM before restarting your tower.
The rest will take care of itself.

You need to rub the metal parts of the case, then for the RAM, the frequency should be written on the one that is already in place. I’m providing a link that may help you

Regarding the RAM, there is a hole (notch) in the one that clicks into the motherboard, which prevents you from putting it in the wrong way.

@flo88 How can I find out the format, the standard, and the frequency? (I think the format is DDR3 but I don't know the rest :/)

@uaftony What should I clean? The case or the inside? And yes, I'm sure that's where it comes from because the counter (Windows 7 desktop gadget) goes up to nearly 95% RAM usage as soon as I start gaming while the processor stays well below 75%.
