^^ at the end of a sentence indicates a smiley face or a playful tone, often used in casual online communication to express happiness, light-heartedness, or a friendly sentiment.

Hello

can you tell me what these symbols at the end of the sentence mean: ^^ ^^' ^^"

I find on the net: happy, cool, amused but it can't be that in the context of certain sentences

thank you

Hello, it's simply a smiley. It's often found in IRC chat rooms to mock users, or to signify irony, sarcasm, etc.

Thank you, Rocky, I do know that!
But it doesn't help me much in the context of the sentences in question. I should clarify that this concerns exchanges between young people.

It's a smiley face in the Japanese style, while the classic :-) is more Western.

the other symbols are fine but the ^^ my daughter apparently doesn't understand it, it doesn't have the same meaning for both,

She uses it all the time but is completely unable to explain its meaning. For example, the other day a friend told her:

- baka
she replied ^^ "that no longer makes sense with the definition we find?!
or

- I'm doing my homework
she replies ok ^^

finally, we're straying from the topic, those were just examples, but she is very disturbed by this response ^^ and doesn't want to ask :/

thanks again
