How to retrieve message history on Gmail

Hello,

I would like to recover old messages that I have never deleted or archived in my inbox; these messages are disappearing as newer ones arrive.

Is it possible to retrieve them, or are they permanently deleted by the system?

I'm not a tech expert, so thanks to anyone who can provide a step-by-step guide.

    Hello

    In Gmail:

    Click on "All Mail" and go through the list....

    You can also use the search bar in the webmail....

    To avoid tedious searches, create labels and filtering rules:
