once you have downloaded your Word file, enable file extensions in Windows

double-click on the Word file, change the name of the file to (french), give it the extension (.ptl)

then go to program files\Cisco packet tracer 5.3.3\languages and add your frensh.ptl file there # works despite a small display bug in the latest version (on the command prompt)

open your software and go to options then preferences, in the change language section select your french.ptl file, ok and restart your software and that's it
