Comment to make a tilde?

Salut, pour faire un tilde (~) sur un clavier français, tu dois appuyer sur la touche "Alt Gr" (située à droite de la barre d'espace) en même temps que la touche qui contient le ; et le : pour obtenir le tilde. Si tu utilises un autre type de clavier ou un système d'exploitation différent, fais-moi savoir afin que je puisse te donner des instructions plus précises.

Have you tried pressing Alt Gr + ;

I tried everything too but I can't put the tilde over the e, it gives...~e~e~e~e~e, I want it on the letter and not next to it, letters that don't work,~i~u~e, I can do ã, õ,

The ñ is also possible, the combinations you are trying to make do not exist in the Latin character table (see special characters in Word or LibreOffice) and vary depending on the fonts used. The keys or key combinations return a unique character code from the table; it is not a character to which a symbol is added! For example, the õ has a decimal value of 245 or 00F5 in Hex. There you have the why and how!
