Reset keyboard to default settings Solved/Closed

Question

Hello,

so I have a little problem with my damn keyboard as you can see from my spelling,, it doubles the letters at will and it's crazy when I have to double a letter or delete several with the keyboard. I really don't want to do a restore.
I've tried modifying the settings but in that case when I double a letter there was only one and you probably know it, it's hard to change habits and thus take a pause before doubling the letter.
please help me !!!!!!

Good evening  look in the control panel, there is keyboard you may just need to adjust the typing speed to get a functional keyboard back best regards

I've already tried and I really can't do it, I've also tried adjusting the settings in the accessibility options, without success. Thank you anyway.

Hi,

1. Software.
In: Control Panel > Keyboard > Keyboard Properties > Hardware tab, you should see Device status: This device is working properly.

Click on the "Properties" button and check if the information provided under the three tabs (General / Driver / Details) seems normal to you.

2. Hardware.
2.1. Log out of your sessions, turn off your computer, and unplug all connections.
2.2. Go wash your hands and wait a moment.
2.3. Turn your keyboard upside down and tap it gently to dislodge any intruders (dust, fur, hair, staples, paper clips, mosquitoes, earwigs...: you can't imagine everything your keyboard hides, aside from germs and other invisible nasties!
2.4. Turn everything right side up and vacuum it (with the nozzle) being careful not to suck up any keys.

3. Reconnect all your connections, turn it on, and try again.

Note: In the accessibility options and in the speed settings, I have configured it exactly like on another one of my computers but it doesn't go back to how it was before.
Another note: it started when I installed the Service Pack 2 for Vista, but I can't perform a restoration.
