Hello,
I have 2 disks. I would like to temporarily disable 1 of the 2 in the BIOS without having to open the case and remove the cables. It's a SATA hard drive and the motherboard is an Asus P5Q3. I remember back in the days of IDE hard drives I could do it.

Thank you all for your help

Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 31.0

Hi,

either you have an enable/disable option for the configuration of your SATA ports in your BIOS menu (like I do); or you don't, and in that case, it's not possible.
