Hello,
So recently we got a new TV: It's a Samsung (but I don't know the exact model). It obviously has HDMI, and when I plugged the Wii U into it (via HDMI), I immediately noticed a slight delay between the GamePad and the TV in terms of sound and image. At first I didn't pay too much attention to it, but now it's driving me insane.
I've tried a lot of things, like resetting the enhanced picture settings, I did the same with the sound, I activated Game Mode, but nothing changes.
Also, when we had the old TV, a big, very old Thomson that didn't have HDMI, there was no such delay. Well, maybe a slight image offset, but still, I didn't notice anything.
So, I hope you can help me.
Thanks in advance!
P.S.: The sound is coming from a speaker, but anyway if I switch back to the TV sound, there's the same delay.

Hi,
It all depends on your distance from the TV. The sound comes out of your TV and the gamepad at the same moment. The sound from your TV has to travel a longer distance than that from your gamepad; therefore, you will hear the sound from your gamepad before the sound from your television.
You don't need to have sound on both devices if the sounds are identical (e.g., dual screens in Mario 3D World). However, in the case where the gamepad is used as the only screen or as a support (e.g., in ZOMBI U or a mini-game in Nintendoland), you won't notice any delay since the sounds are different.
So, to conclude, it's normal.
