Wii U Gamepad is no longer touchscreen.

Good evening everyone, I have a problem with my Wii U Gamepad.
- I turn on my Wii U
- I'm in the menu and my Gamepad doesn’t work, no touch response or buttons except for the X to switch from TV to Gamepad and also L, R, ZL, and ZR.
- So I take my Wiimote to select my game and when I'm playing my game, for example, Super Mario 3D World, the buttons work but the touch function doesn’t.
Can you please help me, it's urgent, thank you.

Try to apply pressure at the back, give the screen a good clean, and use toothpicks to clean the edges; it worked for me ^^
It may detect some dirt and refuse other pressures as a result.

Bonjour, le problème est résolu en nettoyant l'écran tactile avec une carte en papier tout autour de l'écran, y compris les angles.

I inquired about it: either the problem comes from the screen or it comes from the motherboard, in the latter case. You need to buy a new gamepad :(

We have the same problem. The console is new from this morning. We played for 2 hours and the touch screen no longer works.

If cleaning doesn't yield any results, the screen will likely need to be replaced.

We solved the problem by cleaning the screen (make sure to clean the edges well).
