Recover photos from an SD card that requests formatting?

Hello, I have a Transcend 8Gb class 10 SDHC card. I can’t read it on my computer or my Nikon digital camera. Every time I try to read the data on the computer or the camera, it tells me to format my card.
I was able to take photos during the trip until the camera prompted me to format the card. I left the card as it is hoping to recover the data once I got home.
I tried the Recuva software (without formatting first) but it didn’t work. For PC Inspector, I have configuration issues and the version doesn’t seem suitable for Windows 7.
I would like to try other solutions before formatting the card and trying Recuva again.
What should I do? Thank you in advance.

Hello,
connect your card to your PC without opening it (you can't anyway),
go to the start menu, computer, right-click on it, then manage
click on disk management,
wait a moment,
then find your µSD card, check the format of the card!
if the format has changed from fat32 or Ntfs to RAW, it means the card is damaged, but it is possible to recover your data with software!
