Hello everyone,

I have a problem with Microsoft POWERPOINT, which turns out to be extremely slow. Indeed, as soon as I add a snapshot taken with Adobe Acrobat (PDF) to my PowerPoint presentation, it becomes very slow (struggling to move images).

Here are the specifications of my PC:
Intel Core i5 (2.4GHz)
8 GB of RAM (DDR3)
128 GB SSD
nVidia GT 540 M graphics card (1GB)
Windows 8.1

So, if you have a solution?

Thank you.

You can also check by clicking on the "battery" icon in the taskbar to see what power mode your computer is in.
If it is in power-saving mode, the frequency of your processor is throttled, so performance is reduced. (Then you should switch to normal mode)
If you are in normal mode, you can try switching to high performance; in this mode, the processor frequency will be at maximum permanently, so it will heat up..
I therefore advise you to switch back to normal mode in case this is indeed the problem, after the PowerPoint.

The names may vary depending on the computers, but it remains the same overall.
