Hello everyone.
This is what brings me here. I would like to print a digital photo in a frame size of 18X24.
However, I can't find software (preferably free) that offers this print format. The best I've found is in Picasa with a 20X25 format, which will force me to crop the photo, which bothers me because it will cut off the people in it. If I take a smaller size, there will be white space around it.

What I found simplest is using XnView (free). Go to XnView, select the photo, set up the printer for A4 paper. In the file menu, go to print, layout tab, Page setup: Fit to page. In margins: (units cm) Left and right: 1.5, top and bottom: 2.85, this is for landscape format and the opposite for portrait. Then you just need to trim the margins. This applies to any special formats; just calculate the margins based on the paper you have.
