Hello,
I'm working on Indesign CS6 and I'm having a big slowdown issue! I've looked everywhere and tried most of the proposed solutions with no results.
I'm working on a 200-page document and the text is uninterrupted from start to finish... so of course when I make a change, it shifts the text across all 200 pages. But I doubt that's where the problem comes from, right?
I've disabled unnecessary fonts, turned off preflight checking, I'm in Fast view, and I've turned off dynamic screen redraw. I'm on a MacBook Pro with 8GB of memory, which isn't full. I've worked on similar documents with CS4 (and an older computer) without any issues...
I hope someone can help me because I'm out of solutions! (and out of time)
Thanks!

200 pages is starting to be a lot (there are specific software for creating long documents).
Maybe you should use the book system
