Changing number still receiving SMS from old number.

I have an iPhone 4S and I'm receiving insulting and threatening messages from someone who also has an iPhone. I changed my phone number through my operator, but too bad!!! I'm still receiving SMS from my old number because the person has an iPhone.
What can I do?

    Hi, with iOS 7 you can block a contact. Open the Messages app, display the message thread of the contact you want to block, tap on Contact (top right), tap on the circled i, the contact's information will appear, scroll down to the bottom of the page and choose Block this Caller. You will no longer receive SMS/iMessages or MMS or calls from this contact.

    File a complaint for harassment.
