Hello everyone.
I’m new to the forum and not very Rambo when it comes to computers.
Here’s my question: I would like to install an image in the settings of my session on a collector's sales site. The problem is that the security settings of my browser (Google Chrome) are preventing copy and paste via CTRL C & CTRL V.
Can you shed some light on this for me?
Thank you for your responses.
Best regards.

Hello,

Right-click copy, right-click paste?

Best regards, Creafter

Re,
Here’s what the website is communicating to me:

“Due to your browser's security settings, the editor is unable to access your clipboard data directly. You should try to paste the data in the window again.
Please paste the text in the following area using the keyboard shortcut (Ctrl/Cmd+V) and click OK.”

Unfortunately, it doesn't paste ;-)
Thanks, A+

I read that this problem may stem from a version of Google Chrome that had a bug... but that has been fixed since. To check if your Google Chrome is up to date, click on the logo in the upper right corner with the "3 lines," then on "About Google Chrome." If an update is available, install it and let me know if the problem persists.

Here is the result

Version 34.0.1847.131 m

Google Chrome is up to date.

I think everything is fine on that side.

Best regards.

re,

The problem could come from the place where you are copying your text, indeed some software uses a special text editor that is not recognized by the browser and then blocks the copy-paste to avoid errors appearing later and not messing up the layout of the site.
This is a lead to explore.

Otherwise, have you tried running your browser as an administrator (right-click on the icon and then select "Run as administrator"), it may sound silly but if you try it, the copy-paste might be allowed. And then, nothing ventured, nothing gained, right? ^^
