Hello everyone,
When I play a video on YouTube, the sound is doubled; when I pause it or even if I turn the volume down to the minimum, the sound continues.
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it using a software that really deletes all the data of an app (Revo Uninstaller) and I reinstalled Google Chrome, but nothing works – the problem is still the same...

Look into the extensions in Google Chrome https://support.google.com/chrome_webstore/answer/2664769?visit_id=637166883086032719-2817482261&hl=en&rd=2 check if you have the AutoPager extension, if so disable it; if you don't have this extension, disable your extensions one by one and test after each deactivation to see which one is causing the bug.

- YourFileDownloader
2- Download and save on the desktop ADWcleaner
- Open ADWcleaner by right-clicking and choosing Run as administrator (for W7, Vista, W8 only) for Windows XP open normally.
- The ADWcleaner window opens, click on Scan once the scan is complete, click on Clean
- Once the cleaning is finished, you will need to restart your computer

Your PC was infected with adware, here is a page that will teach you how these adwares get onto your computer and how to avoid them: https://www.malekal.com/adwares-pup-protection/
I recommend scanning from time to time with ADWcleaner, which you should download the latest version of before each use, as ADWcleaner is continuously updated. After using it, run ADWcleaner again and click on Uninstall to avoid getting mixed up and accidentally using an old version.

Hi bazfile, I have exactly the same problem with YouTube. I followed the protocol but we no longer have access to the script that needs to be imported with ZHPfix. Maybe you can help me?
