Hello,

I bought a blue S63
the ringtone doesn't work
After opening the case, it was written to remove the strap connecting terminals 11 and 17 (that's good, we did it) and to connect S1 to 15
And for S1 to 15, even with the diagram, we didn't really understand.
We tried several things but it still doesn't work!!!
Can someone help me?

Hello,
dear Jaybees, thank you for your guidance
please be informed that after checking, we are unfortunately obliged to purchase a second phone in order to resolve our issue your way!!!!!!!

best regards.

Hello,
we bought a S63 watch, everything works except the ringtone!
I have no idea how to fix it and on top of that there are no more buttons to adjust the volume
so maybe that's the problem, the sound that I can't adjust???

Please help me, I was really looking forward to having a phone like this!
thank you.

Hello,

I also have an old S63 phone that has a ringing issue. Indeed, when I open the phone and check the connections, the ringtone seems to work but we can't hear it. And my device (1972) clearly doesn't have a volume control. Any idea?

Dear Poucino, regarding the previous post I made
the only solution for us was to find a very cheap white one at a garage sale (we paid 3 euros for it), so we were able to swap the case, the earphones, etc. on the body of the white phone
we now have a blue Socotel S63 that works properly

yet we all tried by opening the first one we bought..... well, we're not phone technicians
so this is a non-technical solution I'm proposing, but it's still valid

otherwise inside the phone check if there is a bridge placed between two terminals (a screwdriver to remove it, nothing difficult).... check the internal schematic (inside the phone casing)
"additional nonsense...." so I don't remember if you need to remove the bridge or connect it to other terminals
anyway, look at the schematic.... test
normally it explains on the schematic how to add a second ringtone, it's worth testing

for us it didn't work, but who knows, you can test because apparently on our first phone it was the ringtone that was dead
second piece of advice
is your phone connected to a box or to a second socket on an ADSL filter?
because know that these phones do not work for reception on the boxes, you need to connect them to the ADSL filter of another socket, that's what we did at our place
