Resident Evil 4 Keyboard Commands?

Hello,
I reached the fight against Mendez in chapter 2-3 and I need to dodge him. However, I don't know which key to press.
Do you have any idea?

    I have the same problem as you: this PC adaptation of the console version is horrible!! Gameplay sucks, I think I’m going to buy a PC controller!

    To answer your question, the game was designed for consoles, so the buttons are programmed for a controller, and on PC it depends on how you configured your keyboard keys...

    Well, I’m stuck for the same reason a bit after you (because after running you still have to dodge the rock hehehe), but this should help you:

    the button "3" on the controller corresponds to your key [shoot/kick] on the keyboard. You have to press it successively to avoid getting crushed by the rock

    Then, to avoid the rock, you will have to either (it’s random) press the keys 1 and 3 at the same time, or the keys 5 and 6...

    I already explained the key 3, and I identified key 1 as your [walk/run] key on the keyboard

    I think key 6 is the [aim] key and as for key 5... I have no idea lol, that’s why I’m stuck further!! I'm fed up with getting hit by this axe 20 times in a row!!!!!

      Key 1 = run key (Ctrl right)
      Key 2/4 = Ashley command key (F)
      Key 3 = shoot key (Enter)
      Key 5 = knife key
      Key 6 = aim key

    to change the keys go to SetupTool after pressing keyboard

      I know you go to options and click on command, then you click on the keys and you set the key you want. If understood, put ok, and if understood, you put ok.

    for Mendez when he tells you 1 and 3 it's enter and right ctrl and when it's 5 and 6 it's both shift keys ;)

      Pour l'inventaire, utilise I [ = Inventory ] pour le quitter I
      Ou pour le quitter CTRL gauche, que tu peux utiliser pour quitter tous les menus = plus pratique.
