Pioneer VSX-520 receiver issue

Hello,

Since yesterday no sound comes from the speakers connected to the amplifier, regardless of the audio output (HDMI, optical, etc.).

I live alone; everything worked perfectly until yesterday, and I don’t recall tweaking the settings in the meantime.

I’ve obviously checked that a headset wasn’t plugged in, that the speakers weren’t disabled, and I even performed a reset of the device, but nothing helps — I don’t receive sound from the TV, the console, or any players connected to it.

Would anyone have a solution to suggest?

    Hi,

    Was there a thunderstorm near your place?
    Is the amp plugged into a surge protector?
    When the amp turns on, do you hear a "ploc" in the speakers?

    Other,
    Test your speakers with a 9V to 12V battery; if the speakers make a "ploc" sound, they are not out of service.
