Hello, I have a Pioneer VSX804 RDS amplifier and a Kenwood GE 7030 graphic equalizer.
I've made my connections where I plugged my graphic equalizer into tape 2 as indicated in the manual, but when I turn on my amplifier and activate tape 2 to enable the graphic equalizer, I get no sound from my speakers and the graphic equalizer shows no signal, whereas when I deactivate tape 2, meaning my equalizer, sound comes from my speakers and the equalizer still receives no signal. Can you please help me? I've been trying different things for two or three days, but nothing works.

Configuration: Windows / Chrome 100.0.4896.127

    Hello,

I don't know where you read the information regarding the connection of an equalizer, but to my knowledge, this device connects between the preamp output (PREAMP OUT) and the input of a power stage, specifically from p.12, zone 17 to zone 16.

The connection at input TAPE 2 is incomplete without retrieving the signal from the preamp output.

    Hi Georges
    Hi Melodias

There are several ways to connect an equalizer
to a hi-fi amplifier on tape2, provided that there is a recording selection function
on an amplifier with pre in and pre out sockets
on a standard amplifier using a single source
in the latter case, just interject the equalizer between the amp and the source

After, what an idea to put a 2.0 equalizer on a 5.1

    What is the source ????

    Cia ciao

      Good evening fmq,

You are indeed right, I had not thought about the second solution.

      Best regards
