Question

Hello;

I have Animal Crossing New Leaf and I'm really short on money
I need to pay for a Public Works project, I'm missing 300,000 Bells to do it
I tried setting the date to 2099 but the problem is that I'm going to lose villagers, there will be weeds and my hair will be a mess. Is there any way to earn over 100,000 Bells a month, please?

There is a way, not very fast but effective: sell all the seashells, fruits (noting that the fruits from your town are worth 100 bells while different fruits from other towns are worth 500), fish, and insects you can catch, and especially: DIG UP THE FOSSILS!
Equip yourself with your shovel and dig on every "crack," you can sell the doodads, which are worth quite a bit sometimes, but if you find a fossil, go to the museum and have it analyzed by Blathers, then sell it to Nook; it's valuable!
Additionally, every day you have a "magic rock," take your shovel and hit the rocks; one of them will give you bells ;)
Finally, buy a balm (just one) and shake ALL the trees. You will surely get stung 2 or 3 times, but you will recover bells and furniture (which you can sell at Tom Nook's)

So, there you go, these are lots of little tips that can help; the quickest and most effective remains the one with fossils, but if you do everything at once, it should be quite quick to reach your goal :)

If you want to earn money (around 200,000), you need to have 1,000 bells on you. Go to the island; if you haven't unlocked it, you need to expand your house (by paying the loan of 39,800 bells). Change the date, set your Christmas and restart the game like that, changing the year each time and you'll earn 10,000 every time; I used to do that on the very first version of Animal Crossing.

Ah, there are also the rocks! Normally, with your shovel you can hit a rock every day and get 16,000 bells (but with a lot of luck)
