connect a Mac to a DVD drive

Hello,  I don't have a drive on my Mac and I would like to read a DVD. I have no idea how to connect my Mac. Can you please help me?     Configuration: Mac OS X Mountain Lion (10.8) / Firefox 23.0

Hello, If I understand correctly, you want to use your home theater DVD player and your Mac screen to view the images. I would say that's impossible because most Macs do not have a video input, but since you haven't mentioned anything about your Mac, I can't be categorical in my response.  Ritchi

In fact, it's to run a flight simulator. I would like to use my DVD player like on my old Mac, that is to say, as if it were internal.  My Mac has an HDMI input, 2 inputs that allow for connecting all sorts of adapters, and 2 USB ports. With this, is it possible to connect my DVD player?
