"No SD card inserted"

Hello,
I have been the owner of a Galaxy Ace phone for barely a year and here's my problem.
I wanted to put music on my SD card, in my documents so I could listen to it later. So I removed the SD card from my phone, put the music on it without any problems, and took it out after carefully ejecting it.
I then wanted to put it back in my phone. It then displayed "Preparing SD card..." in the banner above the menu. I then went to "My files" and there, instead of being able to see my photos, listen to my music, or anything else that was in my files before, my phone shows me "No SD card inserted."
I then tried to remove the SD card a second time, I blew on it and into the SD insert, I put the card back in and still the same problem! It shows "Preparing SD card..." and then nothing. "No SD card inserted." I would like to point out that I made no modifications to the SD card, I only put music on it.
Could you please help me? I hope I have been clear enough in my explanations and thank you in advance for your help.

Remove your SD card properly by ejecting it in Settings > Storage > Safely remove SD card, then restart your Galaxy Ace without the SD card and reinsert your SD card. If it still doesn't work, reconnect your SD card to your PC to see if it's recognized. If your PC displays "Please format the device before using it" when you try to access it or when you just connected it, then your SD card is dead. In that case, format it, try to put some stuff back on it, and if it happens again, well, it's trash (R.I.P SD card ^^').
