Steam connection issue

Hello,

I can't log into my Steam account, I've reinstalled the program but when I enter my name and my code nothing happens, I've waited... yet I already have a few games and there was no problem before

Configuration: Windows 7 / Mozilla 11.0

    I found it! Go to This PC / your hard drive / Program Files / Steam / and delete the file ClientRegistry.blob or steam.dll. Restart your Steam and it will update for you.

      It worked very well for me! Delete Steam.dll: this will trigger a Steam update and may resolve your issue!

      I'm feeling down.. STEAM CANNOT CONNECT TO STEAM SERVERS
      A nice brand new "MAFIA III" and I can't even install the first DVD out of 6 :-(
