PC won't start and message Detecting Floppy Drive A media...

Hello,

The power supply of my PC is dead, and having quickly replaced it with a new unit, I now realize that I have a BIOS problem with the following message:

Award BootBlock BIOS v1.0
Copyright (c) 2000, Award Software Inc.

BIOS ROM checksum error
Detecting Floppy Drive A media...
Drive A error. System Halt

My motherboard is a GIGABYTE ga8I945PM RH.

There is no way to press DEL or F12; the keyboard shows no signs of life. I cannot access the BIOS menu; the battery has been replaced, but everything is the same.

Could you please enlighten me on this subject?

    I think your keyboard is USB.... try one that is PS/2.....
