Hello,
I work for a small association that has limited resources... I recently had a printer breakdown, and I was advised to buy an Epson Workforce WF-2530.
I find it very good, the prints are of very high quality.
However, the ink runs out at a crazy speed! I change the cartridges almost every week, even though I don't print much...
Upon closer inspection, I learned that Epson is the king of planned obsolescence; and that very often, the so-called empty cartridges are not actually empty!
My concern is that the printer is very new, and I feel like it doesn't accept generic cartridges, so I'm looking for a trick to try to reprogram the chips...
Do you have any ideas?
Thank you in advance

Hello,
Recurring problem with Epson! A simple web search is enough to find out!
Try using an ink cartridge resetter, search online, but see the type of product:
http://www.priceminister.com/offer/buy/121435749/reprogrammeur-puce-cartouche-encre-epson-chip-resetter-qe368-consommable.html
It will reset the print count to 0 on the cartridge, however, be careful, when print quality decreases, it means that the cartridge is actually empty, and replace it before damaging the print heads and thus your printer.
Otherwise, it is often possible to do 2 resets on the cartridges before needing to actually change them.
Best regards
