Hello,
Following a change in the settings of my livebox interface (the Wi-Fi password), I can no longer connect to the network via Wi-Fi (I have an Asus with Windows 8).
The strangest thing is that my brother (with Windows 7) can connect just like before.
I currently have a livebox play as my Wi-Fi router, which has always worked well.
For security, I opted for "WPA/WPA2 Mixed" and my new password consists of 7 uppercase letters and 8 digits (greater than the minimum of 8 characters).
Thank you in advance!

Configuration: Windows / Firefox 26.0

Hello
when you enter the key to connect
make sure that the key on the PC is not in wpa tsk (tkip) format or wpa alone or any format other than the one you generated in the box settings
then type the key as indicated in the box settings
if it requires 13 characters, remove the 0
if it requires more, add 0 etc.
it should be something like that and reassociate if necessary

Hello, thank you for your response,
Unfortunately, I haven't been able to enter my new password.
I tried to log in, but after a minute it says "abnormally long connection" and then suggests "forget the network."
I tried to connect manually through the control panel, but nothing worked.
I also tried connecting while pressing the button (with the arrows) to prevent the user from entering the wifi password to connect.
I still tried to connect to the freewifi network and there are no issues.

It's normal
the network is looking for the right parameters, which are not entered
for it to work it is necessary
- that the PC has a Wi-Fi card: logical (note: card or USB adapter)
- that this card (or adapter) is recognized by the system (drivers up to date)
otherwise there will be an error symbol in the device manager
- that the Wi-Fi is enabled on the laptop
- that the Wi-Fi is enabled on the box
normally up to now it should be fine
then to connect to your network, since it is secured, you need a key
this key is normally under the box (WAP or WPA key in French, classic)
except that, you modified it to WAP 2 mixed
in the meantime you need to reset the box for it to take the changes into account
so you need to re-enter the new key, it may be the same but it could also be something else generated by the box
in short, you need to enter the new key taking into account the changes that have been made
then proceed to re-associate the network from the box to the PC.

Hello
You accept when it asks you to forget the network and reconnect using WPS mode (the button is located on the back right of the box)

Check before that WPS mode is enabled in the box configuration and MAC filtering is disabled
