Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 not charging and keeps rebooting.

Hello everyone,
I'm writing to you because my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, purchased in August 2012, has a problem. Let me explain.

I used it and it completely discharged; I didn't pay attention and didn't plug it in before it turned off.

As soon as I plug it in, the screen lights up, the battery logo with a circle indicating charging appears, then after about two seconds, the battery charges in orange. But once the second battery level is reached, the tablet completely shuts off. About 10 seconds later, it turns back on, shows the charging circle again, and the two battery levels follow before shutting off again, repeating in a loop. It doesn't charge and won't turn on either with or without the charger.

I should mention that after the original charger deteriorated (surprisingly), I bought a compatible charger specifically for Tab 2, recommended by a seller, which was working fine until today.

Do you have any idea what's happening to my dear tablet?
