IPhone locked after reset

Hello,

I wanted to sell my iPhone 4 to a friend. So I reset all the content and settings. I even deleted the iCloud account that was connected to it. Ever since I turn it back on and start setting up the basic settings, I reach the account login where it says "This iPhone is linked to an Apple ID (h******@hotmail.fr). Please sign in with the Apple ID used to set up this iPhone."

Given that the address mentioned above in parentheses is mine, which I am trying to enter in vain. When I sign in with the address to which the iPhone is linked, that is, h******@hotmail.fr, it says "Invalid Apple ID h******@hotmail.fr cannot unlock this iPhone."

I have called Apple several times without success. I hope someone here has had the same problem and can shed some light on it.

Thank you in advance.

Configuration: Windows 8 / Chrome 32.0.1700.76

You didn't disable the Find My iPhone app, and your old iPhone is still linked to your account; this is theft protection, and you didn't follow Apple's instructions for changing ownership.

To fix this, retrieve the iPhone, insert your SIM, reset it, and enter your Apple ID as if it were yours. Reactivate iCloud, then disable Find My iPhone, disable iMessage and FaceTime, and finish by deleting the iCloud account. Reset the iPhone as you did before, then when the iPhone restarts, turn it off, insert the new owner's SIM, turn it back on, and set it up with the new owner's Apple ID.
