I was a victim of a scam on the website mantaequipements.eu, which is a seller of machinery for construction (mini excavators, loaders, etc.)
I placed an order on December 19 for a mini excavator totaling €7,400
The scam is very well done; the person responding to questions speaks French very well and knows the equipment well. Moreover, they created another website for delivery management, transpedian.eu
Once you have placed the order and paid, there is no further news, and of course, no delivery
Please contact me if anyone else has fallen for this.

When you think of buying a mini digger or other equipment for half or even a third of the market price, you shouldn't be surprised if you get ripped off!!!!

Why didn't you go through a rental agency, which sells both used but maintained equipment as well as new? It's a shame you didn't ask the question earlier; I have all kinds of machinery for sale :/

Simplify your task. LE BON COIN is aware of the Government's recommendations regarding this scam site. For example, I reminded them today (3 ads Siefer - manta Berger industry) if they don't remove them, they should take responsibility and compensate the victims with legal protection; it will be easy.
Apparently, the site you provided no longer exists, your site selling construction machinery is a fraudulent site.

I bought a mini excavator and a tractor from VMMT in Italy with a contract, invoices, and delivery times. I made a bank transfer, but I haven't received anything. I filed a complaint with the police, but there is little hope that it will lead anywhere as it is not in France.
How can I stop these scammers? I am devastated.

The money had not yet reached the company. Now it is stuck at the Polish bank. The problem is that the bank is not allowed to proceed with the refund without their client's consent. This client is no longer responding... I have contacted legal protection. Consumer fraud prevention has also conducted its investigation, but since it's outside France, there's not much that can be done.

Hello, I was able to stop the purchasing process with this fake company thanks to your forum, and I thank you for that. I contacted them one last time to ask for payment upon delivery, but I got no response. I have since bought a Komatsu PC20R8 on Le Bon Coin, and it went well.

Complaint filed with the gendarmerie with little hope of recovering our money.

Volvo Ecr 35 excavator for the price of €7500 excluding VAT.
I received the invoice and checked the VAT number on the VIES.
Everything is correct.
However, this is a scam because I will never receive the equipment.
What can I do to make this stop?

I had the same issue with a Kubota tractor costing 5400 euros, then I heard nothing and I filed a complaint, but nothing was done.
