How to update Philips TV using a USB drive?

Hello, I would like to update my Philips TV. I have the correct update but it asks for a blank flash memory. What does that mean? I have a USB drive with memory of photos, do I have to erase all the photos from my USB drive to perform the update or can I leave them there without worry? Thank you in advance.

    Hello,

    It is always wiser to have multiple backups of your photos for obvious security reasons.

    Then, just try updating with the USB key.
