The specified path cannot be found

Hello,
I have been using UTorrent for about a week with great satisfaction, although I still can't set it up in French. The issue that concerns me today is that for the past week, what I download goes directly into a folder named "downloads," a folder that I didn't have to define during installation.
I restarted my PC yesterday, and since then, I receive an error message when UTorrent seems to start the download: "the specified path cannot be found." While reading some responses online, I see that it's mentioned I need to change the folder name in the settings. I've tried, but it doesn't change anything.

P.S. I'm not very tech-savvy, so if you could kindly respond in a way that's not too technical, it would help me understand better.

Thank you in advance for your help.
Have a great day.

For your information, I see the problem you had since I probably had the same one; I simply redefined a new inbox folder. To do this, it's very simple: right-click, select advanced options, and finally inbox folder.
The easiest way is to create a new empty folder that you have previously renamed.

      Hello john1418
I can't do what you're saying, yet I believe the solution to my problem lies with you.
I had to remove the USB drive too early last night; it's not damaged, Windows 7 has no issues.
The only problem is that the file names have been replaced by characters that look like Chinese.
The message when I try to open it is: "the specified path does not exist"
Thanks in advance if you can help me step by step.
Reset a new reception folder: YOU mean a new path?
      Thanks in advance
