utorrent: error the specified path was not found Solved

Question

On uTorrent 3.3, when I download, it says: error the specified path cannot be found (write to disk). What should I do?  Thank you.

You can solve this problem by right-clicking on the file you want to download, selecting Advanced Options > Receiving Folder... Then you create a new folder and select it.

Hello,
Sometimes the file path exceeds 255 characters (including the file name), and unfortunately, there has been a bug for decades on Windows that prevents access to these directories if they contain too many characters.
So it is enough to reduce the length of the access path by removing characters either in the file name itself or in the parent folders.
