How to insert an image into a table in Pages?

Hello,
Since the update of iWork (so of Pages), when I open my CV made in a table, my photo has disappeared! I have tried multiple times to reinsert it but it has become impossible; however, I do it as before, I insert it, and since it is too large, I reduce it, then I drag it into the table in question, but since the update, this is impossible, the photo will not fit into the table.
Does anyone know how to insert an image with the new iWork update? Because I really want to have a picture of myself in my CV!
Thank you in advance to everyone and have a good evening ;)

Configuration: Mac OS X (10.9) / Safari 7.0

Hello,

I just tested inserting a photo in the latest version of Pages.
I had no trouble placing a photo on the page around a table.
To put the photo in a table cell, it works by copy-pasting, but not by dragging.
Then you can resize the photo by changing the width and height of the cell. The issue after doing this is that once the photo is included in a cell, it loses a lot of quality.

So I don't see the point of putting the photo in a table, nor even of writing your CV in a table itself inserted into a text page in Pages.

It seems much simpler and more aesthetic to do everything in a classic text page. Just my personal opinion.

Best regards

Thank you for the copy-paste tip, but when I right-click to paste, the "paste" option is not active, so I can't..
And actually, my resume is in a table that mainly serves as a border and to organize the layout of the resume with invisible separations; it doesn't look like a spreadsheet table at all, it's really for the aesthetics of the resume ;)

Correction, I hadn't clicked in the right place! This time it's good, the "paste" is active :)
Thanks again *_francis_*!
However, I can't choose the placement of the photo, it goes straight to the middle; before I could place it wherever I wanted but I can't change its size now..

Yes, the image seems to want to stay centered in the cell.

I maintain that making a resume on a single page without a table is better. It’s worth practicing using tabulation, indentations, etc... perhaps starting from a template and then modifying it.

I think a table is too "rigid" for a nice resume presentation. A matter of taste perhaps :)

Actually, this table CV is a template that was offered in the CV templates of Pages (if I'm not mistaken, it's no longer available) but personally I find it beautiful and simple, it doesn't look like a spreadsheet otherwise I would have never done this. Even some friends are asking me to make one for them with this template because they like it ;)

It's true that in iWork 09 Pages, there were CV templates. I checked.

And I even imported all the Pages 09 templates into the new Pages for testing. But after trying, I saw that not all of them work as templates in Pages Mavericks.

(I reinstalled Pages 09 under Mavericks in addition to Pages Mavericks)

Good evening,

Since you’ve been on Maverick (10.9), have you run “software update”? Maverick is full of bugs, but it seems there has already been an update for iLife and maybe for iWork, we’ll see.

Good evening,

And yes, I have placed all the bets that were offered to me.

Hi Dédé,

iWork has been updated. Very beneficial for Numbers. I have fully reconciled with Numbers now. Pages and Keynote as well. Nothing more to say about iWork. (I mentioned it in this topic

As for double-sided printing, I also shared this

I am currently on Mavericks to continue testing. For this, I boot from an external drive and "eject" the internal drive. This prevents confusion with updates from the App Store, as I still have the software versions for ML on the internal HDD, and on the external drive under Mavericks, the Mavericks versions.

For now, there hasn't been any correction from Mavericks itself yet.

With this iWork update, and having figured out how to print double-sided, I could now fully switch to Mavericks, but the Quick Look issue with .avi files bothers me in some cases, and the few bugs that remain. I haven't encountered all of them yet, but there are still some left, example:
http://www.smartrock.fr/blog/general/la-solution-a-certains-bugs-de-mac-os-x-mavericks/

So, I’m switching between the two. I’m waiting for version 10.9.1 to be released and then I think I will fully switch even with the .avi issue
