I've lost almost all my contacts

Hello,

Could someone help me? I’ve lost three-quarters of my Skype contacts, apart from one person with whom I can video chat. Of the remaining ones, I can’t see who is online or not, nor send messages (except to two more people on Outlook...). I didn’t understand the why and how. I’m on Windows 7 Home Premium and everything was working perfectly. I turned off my computer and when I turned it back on, pfffffftttttt... vanished... Thank you for your kind help.

    Hello,

    For my part, I’ve recovered contacts that were no longer appearing! Because I had the same issue as you!

    Here is the procedure:
    1) Sign out of Skype,
    2) Go to your Hotmail inbox via the web,
    3) Go to Contacts,
    4) In “Manage,” choose “Restore deleted contacts,” and start the restoration process,
    5) Once done, sign back into Skype and you’ll see that everyone is back.

    I personally had many contacts deleted (even though I hadn’t done anything) and I got them all back.

    Be sure to do this quickly, because deleted contacts are permanently removed after 30 days.

    Thank you a thousand times, Jean. I had already tried this procedure; none of my contacts are deleted and I can't restore anything because it tells me 0 contacts deleted that can be restored. I stop at this page because it says there are no contacts to restore... I am lost, and this has been going on for 5 days already. I have uninstalled and reinstalled... in short, nothing at all, I don’t know what else to do, it’s really frustrating. Skype often has problems. If you have any other ideas, I’m all ears.
