Hello,
Here’s my problem: I applied for a job offer and went to the appointment scheduled by the person.
This person introduced me to ACN, where they ask for €477.20 to work with them. The person had a well-rehearsed speech and answered all my questions...
I asked for time to think, but they insisted that I sign right away. After returning home, I researched this company and saw some reports from France 2 and M6 claiming it’s a scam.
The person assured me it was an opportunity not to be missed to earn a lot of money, so I spoke to a friend who was with ACN 3/4 years ago.
In one year with ACN, he only earned €15 and then quit because every year you have to renew the ACN license for €170, and he didn’t earn anything with it. Additionally, he told me that the so-called gurus above you push you to attend trainings, which are of course paid, and conventions in Europe where the training ticket costs nearly €200.
So, I contacted ACN France based in Paris, who assured me of a 14-day withdrawal period. The person asked for an identification number, which I didn’t have, of course, since the person who made me sign with ACN wanted to keep the contract so I couldn’t withdraw. I then provided the name of the person who had me sign the contract, and within 14 days, they will refund my €477.20.
In the end, I just wanted to apply for a salesperson job and not ACN. It’s a huge scam; you have to be careful even with job ads.

A word of advice for those who don't know ACN and its highly questionable methods (ACN was condemned in 2007 for false advertising), RUN away as soon as someone mentions ACN!!!
According to a reliable simulation, 1% of representatives manage to earn a decent income, while the other 99% lose money or at best make a monthly income of €28.2!! LOL
Don't be those pigeons who fatten up this company with a notorious reputation, look at the testimonies of former representatives of this bogus company online...

Yes, ACN was fined €15,000 in 2007, and did you know that Free was fined €100,000, France Telecom €60 million, then €80 million again, €400,000 afterwards, and Bouygues, SFR, and Orange €434,000, and Numericable €150,000 for each dissatisfied customer? So I’d like to say ACN and its ridiculous fine of €15,000, I'm all in!!! So the “flee quickly, it’s the plague..!” Please stop, because for some of us this is our job and we’re working, so we earn money, so all the badmouthers saying it’s a scam.. Drop it!!! Many of us say we are managing to make a salary!
Hello
Be careful, you might struggle more than this for the reimbursement.
We NEVER pay to work, if someone asks you for money for a job, RUN.
And always keep a copy of a contract.

As for those fierce soldiers, I’m saying this not to snitch,
but they do nothing but bellow in our fields.

buy a turnkey franchise to have the right to offer services that people are already using every day for a ridiculous price. Just because you hit an obstacle once doesn't mean you should give up. Pay to work!!! I paid to go to university without knowing if I would have a job afterwards. There's nothing illegal about the concept, it's just different.
So I agree, you don't pay to work, but just a question: when you open a hat shop, for example, you pay for a license! It's the same here, you pay your license and you open your online store!!!! As for the contract, you just need to go to your own account and print it out, nothing easier. Anyway, ACN is an opportunity only if you really understand how to do it; you won't earn anything by sitting on your couch!!!
""that all your personal goals are accomplished...": oh yes, that's for sure.
Except that personal goals to achieve are ... personal, you see?
Each has their own.
And they are not necessarily dependent on money, cash, dough, loot, bread, or bucks...
Even if, of course, you need a bit of it to buy food and pay for metro tickets.
One of my successes, one of my prides, for example, among many others, is that I know how to speak and especially write in French well.
Me. ;-J
Even though it’s not my mother tongue.
And it wasn’t at all a matter of money: my parents didn’t have any to send me to private schools.
And your money, it’s technically possible that one day someone steals it from you, but all my "successful personal goals", and plenty of other things like that, cannot be taken from me.
Never.
No one.
And many of us are in this case.
While this society exists, as many others of the same kind do, it doesn’t bother anyone here.
On the other hand, what is truly detestable is what some do or say to others, who don’t have the same drive to use it, to "sell" it at any price, often transforming human values into mere commercial values.
And that, yes, sooner or later, it comes at a cost, generally.
At a high price.
And it will never be expressed in € or $...
Next "goal to achieve": study and then comment on Maslow's pyramid.

I'm asking a few questions; maybe I'm stupid, but oh well.
1) How can you do something illegal when it's legal?
2) Is MLM something that lasts or is it ephemeral?
3) Why do they say it's not a pyramid scheme, and that recruits can earn more money than the person who referred them (I don't understand)?
4) I've been reading the same things about MLM for years, but one thing about this company: how come they have partners like SFR based on what I've seen on their site?
5) Apparently this company is still around, although it's criticized by many. Is that normal for a big company?
6) I've been invited by several people over the past 7 years, and I still haven't started, but if I do, someone wrote here that at some point they could ask me to pay back what I've earned. Is that true? And how is that possible if I don't want to?

I have read everything that has been said. It's true that talking to people online is pointless, but it’s very good for seeing the mentality of most French people and how deeply the conditioning is ingrained in you.
Answer me these questions.
- You talk about fake car rental transfers for those earning minimum wage... how do you explain gold and black cards?
- How do you explain that Bill Gates says if he had to start over from scratch, he would do network marketing?
- Why did the CEO of Jordan Racing sign with ACN?
- Why did Donald Trump want to be the spokesperson for the company even though it could tarnish his name since it's supposedly a scam?
- Why do we allow ACN to operate in France knowing that it is supposedly a scam?
- Why does Robert Kiyosaki promote this company?
- What do we have to lose since we do this alongside our job?
- Why does 1 in 5 millionaires become a millionaire in the USA thanks to network marketing if it is supposedly for a minority?
- Why do big companies want to sign partnerships with ACN knowing it could tarnish their names?
- You say that 1% of people succeed at ACN; instead of having a loser attitude, why not think, I want to be part of that 1%? (You take basketball players selected to play in the NBA; do you think they say, "No, it's not possible for me; only a few people make it to the NBA"? No! They fight, train tirelessly to succeed.)

Where did I claim anything about all this?
One must learn not to rush and only read or hear what one wants to read or hear.
The main idea is simply in this paragraph: "On the other hand, what is truly detestable is what some do or say to others, who do not share the same momentum to use it, to "sell" it at any cost, often transforming human values into mere market values."
And it is precisely on this basis that they were condemned, not on anything else.

As the great Marat Bouh said: "Fopa Toumélangais !" ...
Seen?

But I love the way, shall we say ... "emphatic", some find all the virtues in a commercial enterprise ... They must be thrilled, "over there", with this free propaganda.
Hi BmV;
And it’s always the same crazy people trying to sell us the beautiful words of their MLM.
If they believe it, too bad for them, later they’ll come crying that they got ripped off !!
And I'm going to add this for TCS:
PYRAMID SALES SYSTEMS ARE BUILT FROM THE TOP DOWN AND NEVER THE OTHER WAY AROUND
When he understands that, he will talk less.
Catch you later.

The message was for everyone already, so I would like you to answer all the questions as well.
In short, if ACN was convicted, it's simply because it did not specify that "no remuneration is paid without prior acquisition of clients" because in France, you have to be precise. Everyone knows that without turnover, there's no money; it's logical.
15,000 euros, what is that? It's nothing compared to what other companies pay, and they have convictions of millions of euros, so 15,000 euros, well, you know.

"You are not slaves! We are reassured."
Hahaha! No, we are not whipped.
"But this is neither revolutionary nor even 'superior'"
I don't see why it would be superior. It's a system that allows you to earn extra income alongside your job initially, and for those who want more money, they need to bring in a much larger turnover for the company, so either acquire more clients on their own or sponsor people to bring in clients collectively, which is easier. The advantage is that we offer essential goods and services, which are in the form of subscriptions. Therefore, we don't constantly need new clients since they pay their internet, gas, electricity, landline bills, etc., every month. So we are paid a percentage ranging from 1 to 10% depending on the client points we have with our own clients, as long as they use the products.
"However, in principle, when people work for your benefit, you become an employer, and as an employer, you must pay social charges on the salaries of these employees."
When you sponsor a person, you do not become their employer, but their partner, and it must be noted that you do not earn money from their license.
"So since you 'independents' do not pay for those who are working 'for' you, as you just spontaneously mentioned above, it's either undeclared work, or you are NOT independent."
We are INDEPENDENT REPRESENTATIVES.
This was my humble contribution to our ongoing effort titled: "Basic and Elementary Introduction to French Labor Law for Dummies"
"You can make money with ACN, and a lot of it," and elsewhere too. Even more."
Elsewhere yes, in the world of salaried work. No.
"Who also benefits from a direct percentage of their protégé's income... Since it's pyramid selling, that's normal."
The percentage we receive from the sales of the sponsored is about 0.25% since we did not make the client but we trained and helped them develop their business. (What any reputable representative should NORMALLY do).
"Look at Berlusconi or Bettencourt or Mulliez: they were never with ACN, yet..."
And yet, I am not sure they invested only €500 to develop what they have. Even less so the Bettencourt father, who built an empire with L'Oréal.

Hi!!
I admire the selflessness and energy that ACN's supporters put into defending their little piece of the pie. If the thing works so well and some people have doubts, the best thing to do is to quietly make your (big..) fortune without trying to convince the skeptics..
The reason for this relentless defense of the indefensible is probably that it's necessary to replenish the base by recruiting new pigeons, who are becoming rare..
Having done simulations incorporating ACN's compensation rules in an Excel sheet with various hypotheses shows that this business isn't as lucrative as it seems unless you're a ruthless, slick-talking shark with no scruples, ready to sell your father, mother, uncles, cousins.. (And even then..).
Talk to you later!

"<i>even your wives will see you as real men</i>": that can't be measured by the thickness of your wallet, you know?
;-)))))))
<i>And by the way: there are no women in ACN? Right? And do you see them as real men too? They must be thrilled...</i>
"<i>whiners who complain about their situation</i>": <i>uuuuuuuuh</i>.... WHO is complaining here?
"<i>ACN WORKS AND THAT'S IT!</i>": yes, like any other business, but no more and no less. And not necessarily as it's commonly presented...
Not everyone benefits the same way.
That's the crux of the debate.
Nothing else.
"<i>I've never been an employee in my life and I never will be</i>": but don't worry about that, there are plenty like you, you know.
They're not any unhappier for that.
And there are even plenty of employees who aren't unhappy either, you see?
<i>Yes, yes, I've even met some!</i>

Normally, the company confirmed to me a refund since I am within the 14-day period.
Now I know but they really deceive us when we're face to face with them...
And I wanted a copy of the contract but the person only had one copy and didn't want to give me the contract, with my bank details on it as well :/

Confirmed how, verbally? What is not written and signed has no value.
Did you pay by bank transfer? To which order?

Either you leave with a copy, or you tear up the original. What he wants or doesn't want shouldn't matter.

It's nonsense! When you sign up with ACN, you have to provide an email address and you immediately receive identification codes to access your site! I was with ACN seven years ago for six months, but I stopped due to family issues. I just got back into it because my friends who started seven years ago are making a lot of money. My mistake was quitting.
Hello,
My boyfriend was scammed last Monday! However, he didn’t sign ANYTHING at all; the man took the card from his hands and wrote down the numbers front and back even though my boyfriend told him it wouldn't work since it's the joint account card and it's in my name!!!
I wanted to know... were you eventually reimbursed?!!!
Thank you!

"" They must bring in a much larger revenue to the company, ": like everywhere else.
"When you sponsor someone you don't become their employer,": LOL!
Buuuuuuut I was not talking about that at all!
This is still evidence of a certain focus on a system... let's say... uhhhh "atypical", to say the least....
I was talking about: "And we must not forget that behind all this, there are employees who work to provide after-sales service,(...)"
So either they work for you, and since they work for you, you have to pay social security contributions, so you are not independent (!) since you have employees, or it's under-the-table work on their part for your benefit and you are in an illegal situation, and so are they.
QED
"We are INDEPENDENT REPRESENTATIVES.”: nonexistent!
False.
Deceptive.
It’s a legal-commercial fiction, a totally fictitious construct of the mind.
To look good, to make people dream and inspire vocations.
Because legally you are either:
- "representative", thus an employee of a certain company, with or without a commission on sales, like everywhere else, with a payslip and a position of functional subordination, with objectives to meet, internal regulations, etc.
- "independent", thus obliged to buy and resell goods and/or services on your own in your corner, without any support, and you are registered as an individual trader at the chamber of commerce and/or crafts, with a SIRET number, contributions to pay, etc.
The status of "independent-representative" does not legally exist in France! And no need to be ironic about the subject for three years (it's the minimum time required for a law degree, including commercial law)!
"The percentage we earn on sales from the sponsored is about 0.25%": this simple fact, reported spontaneously, clearly characterizes the presence of a pyramid selling system, even in a milder form, a system in which a third party with authority is paid directly and proportionately on the profits of an operation in which they did not participate directly.
When I make a sale, the commission is all for me, I don’t share it with anyone.
https://www.julienrio.com/marketing/french/81/Syst__me_pyramidal_et_marketing_de_r__seau_____viter_les_pi__ges.html
"And yet, I’m not sure they invested only 500€ to develop what they have": no one ever claimed that and the presence of those examples did not have that purpose at all (but hey, that's still symptomatic of a certain mindset ....).

False. You are not obliged to buy the products to resell them since you are only connecting the customer with the company. Nothing else. Learn about the VDI (Independent Home Seller) contract.
"The simple fact, reported spontaneously, clearly characterizes the presence of a pyramid selling system, even in a mitigated form, a system in which a third party with authority is financially compensated directly and proportionately from the profits of a transaction in which they did not directly participate.
When I make a sale, the commission is for me alone, I don't share it with anyone."
Here is the definition of a pyramid scheme according to your link:
So basically, we do not sell any products/services, there is no money coming in other than the "entry fee" from the partner, which is redistributed at all levels.
This is TOTALLY the opposite of a Network Marketing industry. At ACN, if there are no customers, there is no money.

Here is the definition of a pyramid scheme according to your link:
A person creates a virtual product or service. Then, through promises of future profits, this person recruits members from their network. Each new member will have to pay their entry fee. This amount will be partially given to the "sponsor" of the member, and the rest is divided among the different "sponsor-sponsors" along the chain.
Pyramid schemes create no wealth: the money earned by members comes from other members at lower levels.

No compensation is paid without prior customer acquisition. You can test for yourself. Do ACN without having customers, recruit as many people as you want without them having customers either and you will see if you get paid."
Did I talk about money? We're talking about mindset, just the fact of making the decision to improve one's situation, to take action; we're not talking about money here.
There are many women in ACN and many women who do MLM more than men. We see them as real women because they fight to no longer be seen as just women but as women who have succeeded in achieving their goals.
Many people complain about their situation. Even you must have complained unless you live in the house you've always wanted, with the dream car you've always desired, and you have time to dedicate to your family? That all your personal goals are achieved...
Take the subway and see for yourself. After all, there are those who like what they do.
I want to believe you, but according to statistics, are there more happy or unhappy employees in their jobs?!

I'm going to give you these figures...
1% of representatives manage to make a decent income, the other 99% lose money or barely scrape by with a salary of €20 a month, according to statistics!!
These poor guys who think they're rich make me laugh so much! LOL
They're so rich, yes, that they spend their time online and in shabby hotel rooms trying to convince people to pay €500 to work!!
Moreover, this miserable company was condemned by a court for false advertising (look it up online).
No, they’re really too funny, they just need a red nose and that would be perfect…

Don't waste your time explaining to them, dude.
You have to show on the field that it works, a payment summary to silence the naysayers and the skeptics.
And then there will be no one left to criticize... or maybe not. Lol
Time keeps proving us right. But when they realize they were wrong, we will already be far ahead in society. ;)

OK.
But avoid stating "like that" without presenting factual evidence:

just that. I earn a little more than the minimum wage a week so stop criticizing society I started like everyone else I went through failures like everyone else now there are people who want it and persist and there are losers who back down in the face of difficulties
if you've never been to ACN don't criticize what you haven't done and don't make prejudgments

They still haven't understood that the more they try to justify themselves, the more we laugh?
It reminds me of when they tried to brainwash me, starting with a "
- oh, but be careful, it's not a pyramid scheme, that's forbidden, you know!

Just as it's not the client's responsibility to agree with the product, it's up to you to find the product they will agree with.
Whatever the price.
And there, I'm even giving you a break for the grammatical mistakes (six in two lines, that's quite harsh, and it's with that that you intend to teach us a lesson or impose a new way of living? ...)
Hi BmV,
Forget it, you’re still in discussion with a guy who got caught up in what he thinks is the deal of the century!!
And as usual, the losers that we are know nothing about the shady tricks that come from MLMs!!!!
Catch you later!

I will respond to both of you
The question is not whether you believe in ACN or the MLM scams
I have never been an employee in my life and I never will be. What I do know, however, is that many people trust the government and their bosses more to make a living than themselves, and frankly that’s pathetic, but that’s not your fault; you weren’t taught that. Honestly, it's not people who don’t make money who will tell me how to make it; it's the ones who do make it who can tell you how to do like them. Stop being sheep in the system and make your own decisions; even your wives will see you as real men and not whiners complaining about their situation.
I will tell you one more thing: there are 53 weeks in a year, and out of those 53 weeks, you’re allowed only 5 weeks of vacation; that’s not even 10%.
Also, take an average French salary of 1600 euros; over 42 years, that’s only 800,000 euros in their life as an employee. Why do people, when they reach retirement, keep saying, "Oh, if I had known" or "If I had done this or that, I would have had this."
And I’m not even talking about ACN in all this; you don’t need to do ACN to understand that.

"Interesting" as a point of view, except that even if this model may work for some individuals (no one denies that), it won't work for everyone.
Imagine a world where there would only be "independent sellers" like you, who have understood everything about life; do you really think that would work?
The "products" you sell, are they made by independent workers? No, they're made in China by people or children paid a pittance.
It's easy to spit on people, to say they're sheep or whatever else, but without a minimum of objectivity, you're just spitting on the people without whom you couldn't practice your parasitic activity, so show a little respect ;)

"sure, even though this model may work for some individuals (no one disputes that), it won't work for everyone."
There are people who succeed and fail in all areas, there are people who pay for engineering school and in the end don't have a diploma. Yet no one will say it's a scam even though they've lost their money; We say "He didn't work."
Well, ACN is the same thing, they give you the tools to succeed; it's up to you to do the work and put in the effort. You get nothing for nothing. There’s nothing "parasitic" about the activity we engage in.

That's not what I'm talking about.
It's a business model that cannot apply to everyone in a society.
When "TCS" insults those who are employees, it makes me furious, sorry.
Without the employees who work in factories, your business wouldn't exist.
So avoid spitting on them, it's simply common sense and respect, considering that you supposedly get rich at their expense.
The ACN model encourages first draining from the close circle, friends, family, acquaintances, and given the sect-like practices, "guru-fication," etc... I find it parasitic.
