My laptop does not detect the wifi from my Bbox.

Hello,

I recently had fiber installed by Bouygues Telecom at my place. So I have the Bbox. We have 3 laptops and one of them does not detect my Wi-Fi internet network at all; it's as if it doesn't exist! Meanwhile, the other two laptops work flawlessly!
I've checked what I could in the control panel and there's no way to detect my Bbox. I believe the problem is primarily with my laptop. Is there a procedure to follow? An option to check??
Can anyone help me and tell me if someone knows how to detect my network?!!

I finally found the solution for people with the problem. Just update your Wi-Fi card, even if it's up to date, do a search, but you need the internet. There you go. Windows 8.1 - BBOX sensation

So if I’m not mistaken, you go to  network settings Properties  set everything to automatic.

I looked everywhere in my control panel, network and internet, and I can't find any heading "Network Settings," nor the option to set everything to automatic (sorry, I'm terrible with tech)

What's really strange is that my PC detects countless networks, those of my neighbors, from the building... but not my Bbox!

Uh, the fact that you can't find your security point but others can, is surely a problem with your bbox, a configuration to address.

Hello,  I have the same issue as Marion. My computer detects all the WiFis around except for mine, while my phone does. Does anyone have any ideas? Thank you!

You may have set it to undetectable on your router, check your router by connecting to this in your browser: 192.168.1.1
You will need a username and a password that you may not have configured, first check if you can access your router settings?

I have roughly the same problem.. Three days ago I had the brilliant idea to restart my box because it kept going into limited connectivity. Since then, my PC no longer detects the home Wi-Fi even though it detects all the others nearby. I don’t think it’s a Wi-Fi issue itself since the other PC in the house still detects it along with the smartphones. I’ve searched everywhere online without finding an answer knowing that I live in Italy and my box is from a provider, therefore Italian, that doesn’t exist in France. I’m a bit desperate. Does anyone have any idea what to do to make the Wi-Fi network available again on my computer? Thank you very much!

Hello,

I had the same issue, I restarted my box and my PC detected all the other Wi-Fi networks except for my box. I connected via cable to the box's configuration at http://192.168.1.254. I set the Wi-Fi security to WPA instead of WPA 2, validated the configuration, and then set it back to WPA 2. And it worked.

My laptop does not detect the wifi from my Bbox.
