Prolific PL2303 Serial to USB Driver for Windows 7 32-Bit

Hello,

I'm struggling, I have a USB device but it communicates over a Serial port (COM port ...)
It usually requires a Prolific PL2303 driver, but no matter which version I take, this ***** driver doesn't install correctly, I don't know what to do anymore.

Where can I find the Prolific PL-2303 driver for Win 7 32bits, preferably an older version?

Configuration: Win7 & Ubuntu 11.10
Inspiron 1720 Laptop - 120Go - Core Duo 2.2GHz - 4 Go of RAM

    sorry for the late reply:
    if you have a code 10, it means the previous driver hasn't been uninstalled correctly.

    then reinstall the correct driver which is also available for download
